While a dental student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – from which he received his DDS in 1988 – Dr. McGee became a member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity, and was honored with the Pierre Fouchard Award. Since that time, he has carved out a sterling record of professional accomplishment … and is widely known as “the” Aesthetic Dentist in Wilmington.

Genuine concern for patient comfort and self-image has brought the doctor to study with some of the world’s foremost experts in ceramic restoration, and cosmetic dentistry. A staunch proponent of continuing education and professional development, the doctor is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry; an active member of the American Dental Association; American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry; and North Carolina Dental Society. He also serves as a Dental Officer in the USN Reserves.

Wilmington is home to Dr. McGee, his wife, Laurie, and their two sons, Max and Ryan. Children’s activities, and a love of the outdoors, keep the McGee’s on the go 24/7. Family favorites include soccer, basketball, and going to the beach.
